She attended the Art Institute in Florence as a high school student and received her university degree in Architecture, one of the passions of her life. She was also able to express her aesthetic sense in the kitchen, and dedicate herself to preparing dishes learned both at home from her grandmother and mother, and elsewhere. She continued her successful path by founding the<a href=\"http:\/\/www.fua.it\/\">\u00a0FUA, Florence University of the Arts<\/a>, which teaches many disciplines and aims to train international students at all levels. The FUA is affiliated with more than 100 universities around the world. In 2010, she received the<a href=\"http:\/\/www.astorcenternyc.com\/instructor-gabriella-ganugi.ac\">\u00a0AIAE \u00abEducator of the Year\u00bb<\/a>\u00a0award in New York, and in the same year was recognized by the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.fi.camcom.gov.it\/default.asp?page=informazioni&amp;action=read&amp;idinformazione=6820\">Florence Chamber of Commerce for her female entrepreneurship<\/a>. In May 2012, she also received the award for\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/news.usf.edu\/article\/templates\/?a=4426\">\u00abGlobal Leadership in International Education\u00bb\u00a0<\/a>at the University of South Florida. She now lives between Florence and New York City. She is the author of sixteen books on Italian cuisine. Her memoir,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.it\/bambina-contava-formiche-Meditazioni-cucina\/dp\/8842548294\">\u00a0La bambina che contava le formiche<\/a>, published by Florence Campus Editore in Italy, recounts the story of a young Tuscan girl who grows up to make an impact on international education.[:it]<strong>Gabriella Ganugi<\/strong>, nasce e cresce a Firenze. Frequenta l\u2019Istituto d\u2019Arte e si laurea in Architettura, una delle passioni della sua vita. Fin da giovanissima, dimostra una sensibilit\u00e0, un dinamismo ed una volont\u00e0 del tutto particolari. L\u2019architettura, che pure ama, non le basta. Da l\u00ec continua il suo percorso di successo e fonda\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.fua.it\/\">Fua Florence University of The Arts\u00a0<\/a>che, aperta a tutte le discipline, ha come obiettivo la formazione a tutti i livelli di studenti stranieri. FUA \u00e8 affiliata con pi\u00f9 di 100 Universit\u00e0 di tutto il mondo. Nel 2010 vince a New York il premio<a href=\"http:\/\/www.astorcenternyc.com\/instructor-gabriella-ganugi.ac\">\u00a0AIAE \u201cEducatore dell\u2019anno<\/a>\u201d, sempre nello stesso anno \u00e8 segnalata come una delle\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.fi.camcom.gov.it\/default.asp?page=informazioni&amp;action=read&amp;idinformazione=6820\">migliori impenditrici dalla Camera di Commercio di Firenze<\/a>.
